I heard and read so many “great” things about Shutterfly, as a result, I got very interested about doing this year Christmas cards with them. The greatest thing is their compromise with an excellent product and the opportunity for bloggers to have 50 free Holidays cards!!! Estube chequeando su website y tienen una variabilidad sobre tarjetas para Navidad que quiro hacer las mias este a~o con ellos. This year is my daughter’s third Christmas! I can’t believe how fast she is growing. This year I want the most beautiful designs for my Holidays cards. I just look around and Shutterfly and for the Holiday cards you have 289 different cards to select. Their design are variable and cute. Here are some of my favorite ones:

For Christmas cards you have 803 designs…..Can you imagine all the possibilities you have for your cards? I am imagining mines!!!! yohoo!!! You can select between folded or flat cards, from 0 photos to 3+, and card sizes 5x7, 4x8, 5x5. I love 5x7 for mines….good size, not too big, not too small, just right! Here are my favorites:

Para Tarjetas de Navidad hay 803 dise~os…Puedes imaginarte todas las posibilidades que tienen tus tarjetas? Yo estoy imaginandome las mias ahora mismo! yupi!!! Puedes seleccionar entre tarjetas dobles o sencillas, de 0 a mas de 3 fotos y tama~os de 5x7, 4x8, 5x5. Furthermore, I love to make calendars with our pictures and at Shutterfly calendars I found great layers. My favorite is Happy days (too cute). This would make the best gift ever for my husband this Christmas! He has to work long days and far away, so a calendar with our pictures is a way to remember us and relax while he is working.

Ademas, tiene dise~os bien bonitos para Calendarios. A mi me encantan pues asi mi esposo puede tenerlos en su oficina y sentir cerca a sus dos amores!

If you have to travel to NYC by train for a Doctors appointment all by yourself with two bags, a stroller and a toddler, make sure to bring lots of toys, books, crayons and luck! However, this is Pinky’s world and we have to take advantage because every moment is a time to learn.

More than one month ago we signed up on a Children's Picture Book Swap that Zoe at Playing by the Book hosted. The partners were assigned and we were matched with a great family at Spain….yupi!!!! It was soooooo excited!

Here is what we sent them: The story of Myrtle Marie by Carolyn Graham and illustrated by John Himmelman.

The story is a poem. Myrtle Marie is a huge turtle that a boy found on the beach. They play, dance and becomes friends, so they wanna be together and goes to live with him. Day passed and she started feeling sad: she misses her mom and dad. The boy, showing that a real friend just want you to be happy, take her back with her family. However, they know that there is somebody thinking about each other some place out there!

My daughter loves the pictures, see the turtle and the other characters and pictures. Also, she loves every animal, and, for hence, turtles!

It is a good story that teach about friendship, love and feelings….and as my partner told me….why sometimes it is hard to have pets….”they would miss their family”….

Here is Pinky very excited sending the package from USA directly to Spain!

So, after almost two weeks….I received an email confirmation of the package from my swap partner!!! Inside the envelope they found the book and some turtle pictures, a turtle parts of the body picture and a postcard….

Myrtle Marie made it to Spain!!!

This is such a wonderful picture book with lots of PICTURES, for sure. There are plenty of details in EVERY page….and there are small balloons with conversations between characters….also…our favorite one….sometimes there are hidden objects or characters on the pages.

The story is about a character called Mouk, which leaves his friends and heads off on a tour of the world. Every page shows his great adventures in the different cities he visits with pictures of cultural characteristics, objects and food. He travels to Tokyo; Kangaroo Island, Australia; Sambava, Madagascar; Hydra, Greece; Lake Titicaca, Peru; New York and others. He always writes a letter to his friends telling his adventures. And the best part are the STICKERS…You can re-use them and move them from page to page.

Oh yeah…I love everything in relation with art….or maybe creativity is a best name…Maybe????

I used to draw…nothing fancy and never had the opportunity to officially study paint or take art classes….but it was my dream and still is…Take art classes is so fun, relax, lovely, creativity, joyful…..ok, I am getting melodramatic!!!

So, this is the story: I am a member of Swap-Bot and there was some swaps for coloring pages….theme: Thanksgiving…

The first one- Thanksgiving cornucopia coloring page (yes! just coloring). However, I am a kind of Not-on-duty artist and added some stuff to the coloring picture…..or maybe I was so relaxed….Here is my swap and let me know what do you think!! I would love to her your comments….
